Creative Box is a digital platform tailored for creatives, from amateur designers to seasoned professionals, seeking feedback on their work.

"The aim is to empower creatives to reach their full potential efficiently and effectively through a streamlined, targeted platform"

I wanted to created a concept that allows users to seek and receive focused insights from industry professionals, aligned with their specific aims and goals. Additionally, experts within the platform contribute to a larger ecosystem, offering valuable feedback while making their efforts profitable

The Problem

There is a lack of solutions for finding and connecting with specialized creative professionals who can offer direct support on targeted inquiries. Existing methods often provide limited options and lack motivating incentives.

This digital platform aimed to differentiate itself from typical social network creative platforms by focusing on seeking input and obtaining targeted feedback from the creative community. Through incentivization, it tries to ensure that time and effort are rewarded on both sides. Ultimately, the platform aspires to elevate the entire creative community worldwide.

Style Guide

Clean and simple was the objective. The design aimed to be light, welcoming, and intuitive. A minimal color palette, accented with splashes of color, was used to create contrast and establish visual hierarchy.

Along The Way - Process

Affinity Map

I used an affinity map to cluster important information, which effectively clarified the product’s direction and defined its overall scope. This brainstorming session laid the foundation for the design process.

Story Boarding and Crazy 8's

Quick sketches were developed to ideate use cases and design to visualize quickly potential directions and pitfalls. A broader range of ideas were a result of these sessions leading to a broader range of potential solutions

Booking a feedback session

Surveys / Data Collection / Interviews

Surveys were used to collect a large volume of information throughout the development process. The objective was to ensure decisions were driven by data, minimizing the influence of personal biases and opinions.

Sample Questions:

How do you currently seek out feedback?

What type of things would you like to get feedback on?
On a scale of 1 - 10, how important are testimonials to you?
How often do you find yourself stuck in finding someone to help you?
What are your preferred methods of communication for professional uses?

User Testing / Reveal / Refine

Design decisions were based on data and real user feedback, enabling the development of user-centric solutions.

Test Results (User Clients)

Users desired a straight forward platform without extra content. (Articles / inspirations, etc)
The process from start to finish was efficient and easy to process fully
Buttons were easy to use. Some page consolidation could be helpful to reduce clicks
A.I features was great but wanted it to be more easily accessible and more visible
Users thought it would be helpful to introduce mobile/ tablet optionality for flexibility
Direct capability within the platform / product was desired (Editing tools)

Users desired a straight forward platform without extra content. (Articles / inspirations, etc)
